Privacy & browser storage
This website works without a user account. Saved finds stay in the browser you use.
Information you choose to store
Bookmarking an entry stores its ID under the local-storage key kakobuy-eu-saved. This is used only to display your saved shortlist. It stays in this browser until you remove entries, clear website data or use “Clear saved finds”. There is no cross-device sync.
No payment or order data
We do not provide a checkout or collect card numbers, account passwords, delivery addresses or agent order records. CSV downloads and copied entry details are generated in your browser; they are not submitted to this site.
Feedback you submit
The feedback form sends your chosen feedback type, optional entry ID, description and optional public source/photo URL to our server for manual review. Feedback is stored outside the public website. We do not ask for an email address, password, payment data or private order references. Do not include another person’s personal information. Linked photos are not automatically downloaded or published. Rate limiting uses a temporary in-memory network identifier; this feedback store does not record IP addresses.
Email enquiries
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Email is handled through our Titan mailbox and used to respond to your website enquiry. Include only the information needed for the request; website contact does not require payment details, account passwords or private order records.
Technical requests
Your browser requests pages, styles, scripts and images from the website host. The host may process standard access information such as IP address, requested URL, time and user agent to deliver and secure the service. Optional analytics are described below. We do not load advertising trackers or third-party embedded widgets.
Optional visitor analytics
With your permission, this website loads 51.LA visitor analytics. The provider receives your public network IP address, pages viewed, referring website and browser/device information, and may use cookies or browser storage to distinguish visits. This is optional: declining does not limit browsing, saved finds or guides.
Your choice is stored in this browser under kakobuy-eu-analytics-v1 for up to 180 days. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it. Withdrawing permission reloads the page without the analytics script, stopping further collection by this integration. Data already sent are not automatically erased; contact us about a privacy request.
51.LA is a separate provider; its infrastructure may be outside your country or the EEA. Read its service and privacy terms and contact our website email about processing or retention settings. We do not describe these visits as anonymous.
Spreadsheet referral links
Links to the full spreadsheet include fixed campaign tags identifying kakobuy.eu as the referring website. They may send our website origin as the referrer. We do not add an individual visitor ID; existing category and search parameters are retained.
External links
Opening Kakobuy, an original seller listing, Reddit or an EU source takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Links use referrer protection. We do not control those services.
Your controls
Remove individual saved entries or clear the shortlist on the Saved finds page. You can also remove this site’s local storage through your browser settings. Browsing and reading guides do not require bookmarking.
