Kakobuy payment methods for European spreadsheet users

PayPal, international cards, account balance and Alipay: what the official help lists, and what to confirm at checkout.

Pay only inside Kakobuy. This spreadsheet site never takes payment, stores card details or holds an account balance.

What the official help lists

Kakobuy’s help describes account balance, PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay, with international cards available through supported top-up channels. The recharge help mentions Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB through PayPal-supported cards. That does not mean every method is enabled for every account, country, item or transaction. The live payment screen decides availability.

Check conversion and the final charge

Compare the amount charged to your card with the amount credited or paid in the agent account. Look for currency conversion and provider fees before authorising the payment. The spreadsheet keeps the original CNY reference price beside an approximate EUR amount calculated from a dated ECB snapshot. The checkout rate and provider charges can differ.

Keep billing and parcel information consistent

The official card and PayPal instructions ask users to check the associated shipping address. Follow the payment provider’s current prompts and Kakobuy’s current instructions. Enter card and identity information only in the authenticated provider or official agent flow.

If a payment appears to fail

Check your agent transaction history and your bank’s pending authorisations before retrying. Record the time, amount and reference. An Irish community discussion describes inconsistent card results; it is an anecdote rather than a verified fix. Ask official support about the transaction before making repeated attempts.

Understand refunds before topping up

An order refund to agent balance and a withdrawal to the original payment source are different actions. Kakobuy’s refund help describes original-method returns and possible handling charges. Read the current terms before adding more balance than you expect to use.

Questions about payment and conversion

Why can the card charge differ from the EUR estimate?

Our estimate uses a dated ECB reference rate. The provider may convert currencies at its own rate and add a charge, while the order may include postage or a different variant. Compare the amount authorised with the amount credited or paid, and keep the transaction reference.

What if my preferred payment method is missing?

Use the options shown in your authenticated official payment screen and ask Kakobuy support about that transaction. A method listed in help may not be offered for every account or payment. Avoid treating a forum workaround as confirmation that a particular card is supported.

Does an order refund automatically return money to my card?

Check where the refund was credited. A seller-order refund and a request to return unused agent balance are separate actions. Kakobuy’s top-up refund help describes original-channel returns and potential charges; confirm the applicable process before adding more balance.
